About the website

Opening BBN Minds was launched in the Spring of 2008 to deliver the message that people abused by Washburn, their family and friends should pride themselves on addressing a problem.  The problem continues to have a corrosive effect on BB&N's standing.  Those who have been outspoken have helped prevent similar abuse from happening again.

Prior to launching the site, Weinreb obtained confirmation from multiple sources that Washburn's trial had only addressed a small piece of his abuses over two decades.

Alumni, lawyers, therapists and educators reviewed the site for accuracy and appropriateness.

The site has had over 20,000 page views since it launched in April 2008.
